General Information
The Missouri Gay Rodeo Association (MGRA) has been in continuous operation from 1986 - 2024. We are a 501 (c) (3) corporation who produces The Show-Me State Rodeo. We are an affiliated chapter of the International Gay Rodeo Association (IGRA) who sanctions the rodeo. We are an all-volunteer organization and any profits we make from the rodeo are given back to our community by donations to our Charity Partners.
The MGRA board of directors is working diligently to produce the Show-Me State Rodeo in 2024. We invite all contestants and spectators to join us.

Contestant Information
Entry fees are $30 per event/per day. Must enter a minimum of one event each day or two events in one day to compete.
There is a minimum non-refundable deposit required of $60.
All IGRA rules and regulations will be adhered to for the Show-Me State Rodeo.
MGRA has asked for and received a variance for the arena size to be 117 ft. X 212 ft.
Contestant registration will be at Sidekicks Saloon at 3707 Main Kansas City, Mo 64111 from 6-8 on Friday, May 10, 2024.
There will be a fundraising show starting at 9 pm. There will be a beer bust as well.

Late Registration & Late Fee Policy:
Late registrations will be accepted. Late Fee Policy is in effect.
Contestants who register after the preregistration period has expired shall be assessed a late fee of $50.
A late fee of $50 shall be assessed to all preregistered contestants adding rough stock events after the preregistration period has expired.
This fee applies only to contestants who have been assigned a four (4) digit IGRA contestant number more than thirty (30) days prior to registration date.
Payout for the Show-Me State Rodeo shall follow IGRA guidelines.

The New Contestant Meeting will be at 8:30 am, at the Rodeo Arena.
Rodeo begins at 10:00 am.

Stall Fees/Horse Information:
The one free horse stall only applies for 3 Days (Friday through Monday Morning or Thursday through Sunday) of the rodeo weekend.
Any additional Stall Fees are noted as below
$25 per additional horse stall for the weekend (3 Days)
$25 per tack stall for the weekend (3 Days)
$25 per day per stall for any days over 3 days.
Contestants requiring more than three stalls will be charged $25/Day/Stall
$50 late fee for contestants requiring stalls who did not pre-register

We have limited RV spots for $ 25 some have electrical. This will be parking lot camping at the venue.
Pets: The City of Kansas City has a very strict leash law. All pets must be on a leash or contained in your camper. There will be an animal control officer stopping by at various times over the weekend to check the tags on the animals as well as if they are leashed.
Host Hotel Information:
Host Hotel - Group Rate is Under MGRA or Missouri Gay Rodeo Association and ends April 19th.
