To whom it may concern:
My name is Kenneth Hall, and I am the Sponsorship Chair for the Missouri Gay Rodeo Association (M.G.R.A.). M.G.R.A. is the only LGBTQIA Rodeo organization in the State of Missouri, which has been in operation since 1986 and promotes the country and western lifestyle.
I am writing to you today as I oversee the operation of the Association as well as the Chairperson in charge of sponsorships and in-kind donations. Our annual Rodeo is the weekend of May 18th – 21st, 2023 and we are holding it at Hale Arena. We are expecting about one hundred or more contestants from all over the United States and Canada to come to Kansas City for this event, as well as anticipating thousands of attendees.
We are looking for is items that we can put in our contestant/officials’ bags showing them the pride we have for Missouri. We are already showing them that we will have a new world-class airport for their arrival, and the honor of hosting a World-Cup match. We want to involve as many businesses in Kansas City as possible so that they see who we are and what makes us so great!
We have attended many other events across the country and in those welcome bags were mementos of their city, whether it was samples of products, useful business swag such as:
- Branded Pens (or pads of paper with pens)
- Can koozies – or cups with lids
- Branded hand sanitizer (which we all still need)
- Any other fun branded swag
We are always looking for notable items to put into events like bingo and raffle prizes we do throughout the year as well as the Silent Auction we have at our rodeo. We do events throughout the year and the rodeo to raise money for our charities like The Wishing Well Equine Rescue and American Cancer Society.
We are a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Organization and any items given to us to put in the gift bags or prizes for other events may be considered a charitable donation and/or a tax deduction.
